Being a spin-off from “The Conjuring 2”, a 2016 horror film, “The Nun” centers on a demon nun character which is terrorizing an abbey in Eastern Europe. The year is 1952 and two persons are sent by the Vatican to the Cârța Monastery in Romania to help a nun solve an extraordinary case. These are a Catholic priest with controversial past and a novitiate before her final vows. While trying to investigate the mysterious suicidal death of a young nun, they discover some dirty secrets and put their lives and souls in mortal danger. The Vatican’s envoys need to bring all their faith and strength in order to confront the same demonic nun from “The Conjuring 2”.
