EditDestroyer (2018)

Nicole Kidman as you have never seen her in a role before! Her acting in “Destroyer” cannot be compared to anything else she has played since 1983, when her career began at the age of 16. Kidman’s character, Erin Bell, was a young LAPD detective who received an undercover assignment to get infiltrated in a gang. An incident with the gang in the California desert marks the young cop forever, destroying herself and her life forever. As it sometimes happens in life, the consequences of our past hit us when we expect it the least. It is difficult to say wether encountering the former gang leader was a surprise for Erin or something she wanted to experience. One thing is for sure, she has to meet face to face the remaining members of the gang, in order to find answers and, hopefully, peace.
