You know the story of Superman, the child that came to Earth from another world and ultimately became a super hero, ready to help everyone that needs to be saved. Now imagine what if the opposite had happened and instead of a great guy, Superman was a sinister creature? “Brightburn” is exactly that - the horror version of the well-known tale. Here, a couple finds a very special baby boy, knowing that he has come from the stars and possesses magical powers. They decide to adopt the alien child and teach him how to be a kind-hearted person who makes a positive impact on our planet. As the boy grows, instead of using his potential for good, he let the evil inside him take control and starts spreading misery on Earth.
