A Star Is Born in the real world

" We have heard the story before about the struggling artist with the huge talent, who is just waiting to be discovered. Actually, the premise of ‘Wild Rose’ is very similar to ‘A Star Is Born’, but the movie wants to be and is something very different. The movie is about the young country singer Rose from Glasgow, but it’s also about the very real choice that many female artists have to make between family and career, responsibility and dreams. Jessie Buckley, who plays Rose, has been praised by critics for her riveting and strong performance and for her amazing voice. ‘Wild Rose’ premieres in Danish cinemas on the 28th of May. "
