Icelandic coming-of-age drama

" Every generation has it’s touching and violent coming-of-age drama. There was ‘Thirteen’ from 2003, ‘Kids’ from 1995, and now we get the Icelandic film ‘Let me Fall’. The film premiered at Toronto International Film Festival in 2018 and is directed by Balvin Zophoníasson, who has previously made ‘Vonarstræti’. The film has received good reviews and The Hollywood Reporter writes: "framing the plot in female-driven coming-of-age terms, with a tortured same-sex romance at its heart... gives this story a fresher angle than most drug movies.” The movie premieres in Danish cinemas the 9. of January 2020.
