" When ‘The Invisible Life of Eurídice Gusmão’ had its international premiere last year, it was showered with praise and now it is finally getting its Danish cinema premiere. The film is about two sisters in 1950s Rio de Janeiro, where they fight against a women-oppressive and conservative society. ‘The Invisible Life of Eurídice Gusmão’ is based on Martha Batalha's book of the same name and was shown at last year's Cannes Film Festival under the Un Certain Regard section, where it won the main prize. The film will have its Danish cinema premiere on November 19th. "
