Theodore John Kaczynski is a person with a lamentable reputation. Popular as the Unabomber, the born on May 22, 1942, American was domestic terrorist. In 1967, Kaczynski earned his doctoral degrees in mathematics. Later same year, the 25-year-old mathematical prodigy became the youngest assistant professor of mathematics in the history of University of California. Kaczynski taught undergraduate courses in geometry and calculus but his methods were not approved by the students. It seemed that teaching caused distress to the young professor as he taught straight from the textbook, refusing to answer questions. Suddenly, in 1969, Kaczynski abandoned his academic career to downsize significantly to a primitive lifestyle. The worst part happened between 1978 and 1995, when he killed three people and injured 23 others in an attempt to start a revolution. His targets were people involved with modern technology. This film is about his unconventional life.
