Some may see this film as a modern Romeo and Juliet love story, set in an urban decor. From one side we have the beautiful Amalie, living a dream life in West End, the rich neighbourhood of Oslo. Being privileged doesn’t make the young girl lazy - on the contrary, she is a dedicated dancer, ready to work hard in order to be a great performer. However, as it often happens in life, Amalie’s father looses all their money and the family is forced to move to one of the Oslo' s poor parts - Stovner. New school, new friends, and that special boy that makes her heart skip a beat... Mikael is a talented street-dancer, unlike anyone Amalie has met before. Struggling to find her place in the new situation, the girl gets wrapped up in her own web of lies. Will Amalie find her way back… to herself?
