Category 5 is the highest one for hurricanes according to the Saffir–Simpson scale. Regions in which there is an alert for this type of natural disaster are hit by devastating storms that destroy everything on their way. Coral Lake is a town in Florida where the authorities have just issued an evacuation order for the local people that is warning them to leave everything and run for their lives. One of these people is Dave, whose daughter Haley comes to his house, trying to find and save him. Unfortunately for the family, the floods bring not only debris but what is even worse - hungry alligators who know how to play with their prey. While they are running out of time to escape the hurricane, Haley and Dave need to stay strong and think how to outsmart the cunning creatures.
