Being a sequel to the 2018 thriller “A Quiet Place”, this one shows the struggles of the Abbott family who need to survive (again!) in complete, yet aggravating silence. After the deadly events that happened in the first part, now the characters of Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe are forced to go beyond the safety of the sand path. Although they are somewhat prepared to meet the terrors, inhabiting the outside world, the Abbotts soon realise that new, unfamiliar threat is hungry for their souls. Evelyn, Regan, and Marcus may have get used to dealing with creatures that hunt by following sounds, but this time it is different, this time the Abbott's lives depend on their creativity and desire to stay alive. We can say that “A Quiet Place: Part II” is a family project - it is written and directed by Emily Blunt’s husband, John Krasinski.
" Director and actor John Krasinski’s sequel to the hit horror movie ‘A Quiet Place’ has just like many other movies been postponed. But luckily ‘A Quiet Place 2’ has now gotten a new premiere date. The movie should have premiered in Danish cinemas on the 19th of March, but now it will premiere on the 4th of September instead. "
" When ‘A Quiet Place’ premiered in 2018 it was something as revolutionary as a horror movie where the absence of sound was the evocative. The movie was a huge success and earned more than 340 million dollars worldwide. Now director and actor John Krasinski is back with a sequel. ‘A Quiet Place 2’ follow the Abbott family outside the safe walls of their home, where they have to learn to both be careful of and trust other survivors. Both Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe and John Krasinski have returned to their roles. The movie premieres in Danish cinema on the 19th of March. "
