Ruth Bader Ginsburg was born in Brooklyn. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the Cornell University and later went to law school at Harvard. Both she and her husband became attorneys but she specialized in sexual equality. Ruth Bader represented an enormous amount of cases for both women and men experiencing inequality within culture and society. This remarkable attorney represented such cases at the Supreme Court for a long time before she herself became a member of the Supreme Court. This film is not only a reminder of her incredible legal legacy. It presents also an interesting point of view to her unexpected fame in popular culture. Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s nickname in the popular press is 'Notorious RBG', as a playful pun on the name of the rapper The Notorious B.I.G.
