EditJia nian hua (2017)

This Chinese drama film follows a story that takes place in a small town, located on the seaside. Mia is a teenager who works in a motel as a cleaner. One night she accepts to make a favor of her friend and co-worker Lili to manage the reception for a while. Unfortunately, an incident happens during that particular night and Mia is the only witness. The girl is scared not only because she may lose her job but because keeping silence for what happened disturbs her deep inside. What Mia sees is a middle-aged man who breaks in the room of two 12-year-old schoolgirls. The teenager has a dilemma - to keep her job or to expose a man who has committed a sexual assault.
