Based on the 2014 novel of the famous Swedish blogger and writer Fredrik Backman, “Britt-Marie Was Here” is about an ordinary 63-old year lady whose life changes for good. Usually, we all tend to agree with the social cliché that global life challenges happen only to young people. However, this is Britt-Marie who bravely leave the 40-year marriage with her husband Kent to pursue new life. Offended by being qualified as a nagging aunt, she takes up a great challenge - to coach the children’s soccer team in the small city of Borg. The film follows all the struggles and obstacle Britt-Marie has to overcome but also her ability to find warmth and love at unusually places.
