Unfortunately, the events that are used as a base for the plot of this thriller, are true. The nightmare began on November 26, 2008, when a group of terrorists sneak in the luxurious Taj Hotel in Mumbai. With guests from around the world, the hotel staff had to demonstrate a high level of humanity and courage, trying to keep safe everyone - men, women, children, who have stayed in. While the chef Heart Oberoi (Anupam Kher) and the waiter Arjun (Slumdog Millionaire’s star Dev Patel) risk their lives, trying to outsmart the terrorists, a family is making the impossible to protect their baby. Sadly, due to the severity and the surprise element of the attack, there were people who have lost their lives and also others, who were taken hostages.
