EditSkjelvet (2018)

Following the events of the successful “The Wave”, this time the natural disaster doesn’t hit a Western Norwegian village but the threat is against the very capital of Norway. Inspired by true events, “The Quake” centers on the family that survived the horrible tsunami three years ago - geologist Kristian Eikjord (Kristoffer Joner), his wife Idun (Ane Dahl Torp), their son and daughter. The traumatized family decides to move to Oslo, hoping for a quiet life in a safe environment. However, same as in 1904 when a real earthquake with 5.4 measured on the Richter magnitude scale shook Oslo, the family has to survive another catastrophe. “The Quake” is given the honor to open the 46th Norwegian International Film Festival on 19 August 2018.
