EditMade in Bangladesh (2019)

Dhaka, Bangladesh. Shumi is a 23-years old woman working as the slaves work at a textile factory. Before that, back in her village, her step-mother threatens to marry her involuntary to a much older man. While Shumi manages to escape this prison, the capital city of Bangladhes is not a better place for a person without education. Fed up with working in terrible conditions, Shumi decides to organise her co-workers in a union and together to fight for their rights. Without the support of her husband and being threatened by the managers of the factory, Shumi is determined to succeed. At first unsure about what she was doing, the other women sewing expensive clothes for cheap, little by little realise that a change needs to happen. And that this change will become real only if they are active and persistent to the end.
