Harrison Ford stars in this adventure film, based on one of the Jack London's classical novels "The Call of the Wild" (1903). It is also a remake of the 20-th Century Pictures' film of the same name starring Clarke Gable and released in 1935. The story is set in the 1890s and we see Buck, a domesticated St. Bernard/Scotch Collie dog, living happily with his humans in their home in Santa Clara, California. Unfortunately, Buck gets stollen and then sold in Yukon, Alaska during the Gold Rush. Forced to server in the most rural part of the country in a dog sled team that delivers the mail, our furry friend soon becomes its leader. Despite of the many challenges Buck goes through, he proves that his instincts are strong and his loyalty - admirable.
