Chris Rock in new Saw movie

" Chris Rock is best known as a comedian and his roles are typically in funny and silly movies. That’s why it is both unexpected and interesting to see him in the trailer in the ninth film in the Saw series. Apparently, the idea for the movie came from Chris Rock himself, and after several meetings with the production company Lionsgate, it was decided to make the movie a reality. According to the CEO of Lionsgate, Joe Drake, Chris Rock’s ideas were: "completely reverential to the legacy of the material while reinvigorating the brand with his wit, creative vision and passion for this classic horror franchise". Besides Chris Rock, we also find Samuel L. Jackson, Max Minghella and Marisol Nichols among the cast. ’Spiral: From the Book of Saw’ will premiere in Danish cinemas on the 14th of May. "
