Director Veerle Baetens' provocative feature debut is an explosively intimate illustration of the toxic confusion and cruelty of adolescence, as well as an unflinching portrait of the lasting impact of untreated trauma. The movie is about 26-year-old Eva, who returns to her hometown thirteen years after a summer that spiraled out of control. Gradually, it becomes clear that this time she has the reins in her hands and that she wants to put the foggy past behind her once and for all.
