EditDoubles vies (2018)

Living in the digital era is not easy for all generations.The so traditional world of book publishing does not make an exception. Set in the charming city of Paris, this story follows a love triangle (it won’t be a French comedy if there is no love triangle, isn’t it?), composed by people of similar age whose professions are somewhat interconnected. Alain (Guillaume Canet) is a literary editor who do not agree to publish Léonard's first novel. Instead, his company hires Laure, a sexy young lady, to adapt the book using the means of digital marketing. Of course, Alain is having an affair with Laure. His wife, Selena (Juliette Binoche) on her turn, becomes a lover of Léonard. So complicated, so French, but also so witty and entertaining! At the same time, this film is asking the same questions which people struggling with middle-age crisis in this ever-changing world are asking themselves.
