Victor is portrayed by the winner of two César Awards for Best Actor, the living legend of the French cinema - Daniel Auteuil. He is a man in his 60s, bored by his long marriage to Marianne, portrayed by the iconic French actress and winner of a César Award for Best Actress - Fanny Ardant. The couple goes through a painful marriage crisis and there is no way out of it until Victor receives an unusual offer. Antoine, portrayed by Guillaume Canet, winner of a César Award for Best Director, is an entrepreneur who proposes to Victor to go back to a time of his choice. Antoine’s company helps people to ‘revisit’ certain moments of their past. They go to a stage where the company arranges for them historical re-enactments. Victor embraces this opportunity, hoping to revive his love to Marianne. He decides to take the pleasure of the moment when he first met his wife.
