A secret government laboratory in Baltimore, operating during the Cold War, receives a tank with a creature, called the “Asset”. One of the night shift janitors, Elisa Esposito, who can only communicate using the Sign Language, befriends with the an amphibian-humanoid creature. There is a Russian spy in the laboratory and the life of the “Asset” is in danger.
