It tells the story of a young, adventure-seeking Danish teacher who takes a job in a remote coastal village with no running water in Greenland. Enchanted by the breath-taking scenery of the place, Anders Hvidegaard struggles to fit in with the locals. This is a film that reveals the inevitable cultural differences between a European and the indigenous Inuit people.
