EditFør frosten (2019)

A dark and harsh winter is inevitably approaching Denmark during the 1850s. Jens is a farmer who sees how the frost is mercilessly advancing towards his lands. The old man has to find a way to take care of his family, his young daughter Signe and the nephews in particular. Jens if forced by the circumstances to agree on a “deal with the devil” offered by a rich farmer who has strong influence in the region. However, as it often happens in life and in business, the consequences of some decisions are beyond what the old farmer has expected. It may appear that the price for saving his loved ones from starvation would be way too high, not only for Jens, but also for the other members of his poor family.
