" The story of Peter Pan is given new life in ‘Wendy’. Most people probably know Peter Pan from the Disney Animation film from 1953, but the story actually dates back to 1904, when J. M. Barrie wrote the play and subsequently the novel about Peter Pan, Wendy and Neverland. The new film re-centers the story around the young Wendy, who is both more adventurous and rebellious than her animated predecessor. ‘Wendy’ is directed by Benh Zeitlin, who has previously been nominated for an Oscar for his movie ‘Hushpuppy’.
