Episode IX of the legendary saga is expected with excitement by faithful Star Wars fans of various generations all over world. Young and old, men and women, all will witness the end of the epic space story in movie theatres this December. Ray, the orphan from the desert planet Jakku is a member of the Resistance now. Being the last known Jedi and Luke Skywalker’s apprentice, she and her comrades will confront the First Order one more time. The ancient warfare between the Jedi and the Sith must be settled for good. An end that is equally bitter and liberating. And certainly - no one’s ever really gone forever. Princess Leia Organa, played by Carrie Fisher who died in 2016, will appear through the use of unreleased footage from "The Force Awakens" and "The Last Jedi".

11-years age limit on new Star Wars movie
" It isn’t a secret that Star Wars fans comes in all ages. Therefore, it’s good news for especially families and younger fans that the new movie has gotten the age limit of 11 years. This is the same marking as ’Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ and ’Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ got. Age limits are determined by the Media Counsel, who evaluate movies to guide adults and spare children from potentially harmful content. The Media Counsel write that movies for children are allowed to be both exiting and scary, but that movies mustn’t take away the children’s control. ’Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ will premiere in Danish Cinemas on the 18. of December.
