“God bless white America!”, that said by an African-American person sounds, to put it mildly, surprising. Meet Ron Stallworth, a police officer, who joins the Colorado Springs Police Force, which motto is: “Minorities encouraged to apply”. The young man receives an extraordinary assignment – he must successfully infiltrate himself to the local “Ku Klux Klan” organization (yes, this is not a mistake!) and find a way to expose them. Ron gets solid support from his white colleagues and his white surrogate even becomes the head of the local branch. Set in the 1970s, “BlacKkKlansman” is based on a true story, an unusual one indeed. The events in the film are presented in a far more dramatic way than what was described in the book.
