The movie should have premiered in Danish cinemas on July 9th this year, but just like ‘Morbius’, Sony has chosen to postpone the premiere until next year. "

The movie is going to be a direct successor to the two original Ghostbusters films, and is directed by Jason Reitman, who is the son of the original director Ivan Reitman. The movie has lots of references to classic 80’s psi-fi. Several reviewers have even pointed out that the mood of the movie is similar to the Netflix series ‘Stranger Things’.
