The Hunt
Based on Richard Connell’s short story "The Most Dangerous Game" from 1924, “The Hunt” shows twelve strangers who wake up without having the faintest idea where they are or how exactly they’ve got at that place. Sometimes it’s better to be uninformed about certain circumstances because you may not like the truth. And truth is that these people have been randomly selected for a very peculiar, twisted purpose. They will have to participate in “The Hunt”. No, not as contestants in a show, but.. as prey. A group of elite globalists gather in a remote locate to.. hunt people for sports and (probably?!) pleasure. However, among the men and women whose are going to be chased and eventually - killed, there is a brave and skilled modern warrior, Crystal. She is a master in this game and her plan works perfectly fine - the hunters become the prey.

" The movie ‘The Hunt’ was the talk of the town even before it premiered. The satirical thriller first had its premiere postponed because it happened to coincide with a big debate on mass shootings. Afterwards, Donald Trump tweeted about his contempt for the movie, before anyone had actually seen it. ‘The Hunt’ should have premiered in Danish cinemas this spring, but that didn’t work out either. Now, the movie will premiere online instead and can be rented or bought on Blockbuster and Viaplay. "

" Some people go hunting for good deals, some hunt wild animals and others apparently hunt people. At least that’s the premise of the upcoming satirical thriller ‘The Hunt’. The movie is produced by Blumhouse Productions, who has previously made movies like ’Get Out’, ’The Purge’, ’Paranormal Activity’ and ’Insidious’, and is based on the short story ‘The Most Dangerous Game’ by Richard Connell from 1924. ‘The hunt’ is about a group of people from the upper-class who trap and hunt ordinary people for sport. Even though the movie hasn’t premiered yet, it’s already the talk of the town, after the original premiere was postponed after the mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. ‘The Hunt’ will premiere in Danish cinemas on the 16th of April.
