Most people have pets like cats and dogs but the primatologist Davis Okoye (Dwayne Johnsons – The Rock) is different. This man prefers the friendship of a silverback gorilla named George to communicating with other people. One day George gets infected with a mysterious substance that turns him into a big, aggressive beast. Dr. Kate Caldwell (Naomie Harris) is a discredited genetic engineer, ready to help Davis Okoye in his extraordinary mission – to find who is responsible for George’s mutation and to save the gorilla. It’s not easy for Davis to work with other people but he must overcome his ego and cooperate with Dr. Caldwell. To makes the things worse, two more genetically altered beasts go wild and the team has to save America from devastation.
