Lizette Risgaard is a former office assistant. This is a documentary about her impressive development, since today she is a Vice President of the Danish Confederation of Trade Unions (LO), thus being responsible for almost 1 million employees in Denmark. Ms. Risgaard’s efforts are focused on saving LO’s historical significance for the Danish labor market. This is the first time a film crew is given access to the back stage of the political machine. They manage to show Ms. Risgaard’s struggle with both inside and outside factors and political figures. Her personality may seem controversial, since she is known for taking decisions that are not always welcomed by the members of LO.
