Meet Simon who has left Copenhagen to start a new life in Vesterby. As an outsider in a new place, among new people, Simon finds a serious challenge in the face of Bjarke. Being Vesterby's alpha male and heir to the local speaker factory, Bjarke is not ready to give up his status to the newcomer. As a result, these two become rivals. But, as it often happens in life, the challenging actions soon transform into friendship. Just when it seems that the things in the town are going on smoothly, a forge is revealed and the Vesterby's speaker factory has to close doors. The people in the small town are devastated and the only one they can blame is Bjarke's family. The situation soon escalates and Bjarke can hardly control his anger. This development puts Simon in a dilemma - to leave the town or stay and help his friend to pass this ordeal.
